The Dance Summer Intensive NYC at Peridance Center is a two-week comprehensive dance program designed for dancers ages 12–17 who want to strengthen their technique, build confidence and grow as artists in one of the world’s great dance cities.
Train at Peridance Center on 13th Street alongside dancers from around the world while developing your technique, confidence and artistic expression through an intensive and inspiring dance experience in New York City.
Offlimits Camps complements the Teen Summer Intensive with a fully supervised residential experience, full board and activities in New York City, creating an unforgettable international summer for young dancers.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
IGAL PERRY
Igal Perry is the Founder and Artistic Director of Peridance Center and Peridance Contemporary Dance Company. An internationally recognized choreographer, ballet master, educator and artistic leader, he has taught and choreographed for renowned dance companies and institutions around the world.
Through his artistic vision, Peridance has become an internationally recognized dance center in New York City, bringing together dancers, teachers and choreographers from around the world.

AUDITION & ADMISSION
Admission to the Teen Summer Intensive is subject to Peridance’s audition and acceptance process. Offlimits Camps guides residential participants and their families through the application process, including the video audition requirements and the next steps following acceptance.

REQUIRED MATERIALS
Cover letter including a short introduction of yourself, how you would benefit if selected, and how you heard about Peridance.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS
- Begin your video by stating your name, age and date of birth.
- Barre work including pliés, tendus and grand battement.
- Center work including adagio, pirouette and petit allegro.
- Optional: modern/contemporary combination or classical variation.
REQUIRED MATERIALS
Cover letter including a short introduction of yourself, how you would benefit if selected, and how you heard about Peridance.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS
- Your choice of two complete barre exercises (one side only).
- Demonstration of one adagio, pirouette and grande allegro combination in center.
- Modern/contemporary combination or classical variation.
Audition requirements are established by Peridance and may be subject to change. Offlimits Camps will provide residential applicants with the latest requirements throughout the application process.
PERIDANCE TEEN SUMMER INTENSIVE
Peridance’s Teen Summer Intensive is a two-week comprehensive dance program designed for dancers ages 12–17 who want to strengthen their technique, build confidence and grow as artists in one of the world’s great dance cities.
The intensive provides rigorous training in a supportive and inspiring environment, with a strong emphasis on contemporary forms while exposing dancers to a variety of styles and approaches.
Participants train with Peridance faculty and work with established and emerging New York City choreographers, developing versatility, artistry and performance skills alongside dancers from around the world.
The two-week experience culminates in a fully produced performance at Peridance’s KnJ Theater, giving participants the opportunity to bring their training and artistic growth to the stage.

Meet the choreographers who worked with dancers during Peridance’s 2026 Teen Summer Intensive in New York City.
KIM HOLMES
Kim Holmes is a renowned dancer, choreographer and educator and an influential figure in the urban dance movement. With a background spanning African dance, ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, house and hip-hop, she has worked with internationally recognized artists including Beyoncé and Missy Elliott. Her teaching career includes leading institutions such as Peridance Center, NYU, Broadway Dance Center and the Alvin Ailey Arts and Education Foundation.
MIO ISHIKAWA
Mio Ishikawa is a New York City-based Japanese performer, choreographer and creative collaborator whose work bridges contemporary dance, visual art and immersive theater. A graduate of The Juilliard School, she has performed with Sidra Bell Dance New York and in Punchdrunk productions. Her choreographic work has also been presented at renowned institutions including The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.
JM RODRÍGUEZ
JM Rodríguez is a dancer, choreographer and educator whose career spans contemporary and commercial dance. His professional credits include projects with Katy Perry, Arcade Fire, Disney, Netflix, PlayStation and Microsoft, as well as performances with companies including Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company and Vitacca Ballet. He also shares his experience as an educator at universities, festivals and dance institutions internationally.
RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION IN NEW YORK CITY
PACE UNIVERSITY, WEST SIDE YMCA OR SIMILAR
Residential participants may be accommodated at Pace University in Lower Manhattan, West Side YMCA next to Central Park, or at a similar residence, subject to availability.
All accommodation options are carefully selected by Offlimits Camps to provide a safe, comfortable and convenient residential experience in New York City.

Broadway Show Experience
A Broadway show experience may be included as part of the residential program, depending on the final schedule and availability.
NEW YORK CITY EXPERIENCES
Supervised walking tours, cultural visits and recreational activities may include Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the World Trade Center, Wall Street, the High Line, Hudson Yards, Brooklyn Bridge and other iconic New York City locations.
Activities and visits are selected according to the program schedule, availability and group logistics.

For over 40 years, Peridance has been a recognizable force in the New York City dance community, bringing together young dancers, professional artists, acclaimed teachers and students from around the world.
Located on 13th Street in the Union Square area, in the heart of Manhattan, Peridance Center offers six spacious, sprung and column-free studios, as well as its own performance venue, the KnJ Theater.
