At Barça Academy we work according to FC Barcelona’s unique model, the very same model employed at La Masia.
Through this methodology, we developed the proactive, collective and creative style of play that brought players like Messi, Piqué, Busquets, Pep Guardiola, Víctor Valdés, Xavi, Iniesta, Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí and many others to the world stage.

International Barça Academy Camps
Barça Academy Camps focus on the education of young players. They are the responsibility of the Barça Academy management who provide the coaches and the work programme and also mark the path to be followed in each camp.
Objectives
- To facilitate learning of football tactics and skills in accordance with the methods used in the FC Barcelona youth system.
- To take part in training, leisure and recreational activities related with football and FC Barcelona.
- To understand the benefits of doing sport in a fun and relaxed environment.
- To foster coexistence among school-age children from different places, cultures and concerns but that share the same passion for football and Barça.
- To ensure proper diet and hygiene throughout the camp.
- Transmit the values represented by FC Barcelona.
Randal’s Island Summer Camps
- Max. 12 players per group.
- Learn FC Barcelona Methodology.
- Unique FC Barcelona Methodology.
- UEFA Licensed Coaches from FC Barcelona. Official FC Barcelona coaches moved to New York exclusively to manage and conduct BARÇA Academy PRO New York. FC Barcelona Local Project Director and Coordinators are supported by local licensed and trained staff.
Long whats is the Insurance Policy
All participants must have their own medical coverage.
The FC Barcelona training program provides only excess coverage (does not cover deductibles) after your insurance policy has been utilized.
Parents are responsible for any and all costs of medical attention and treatment, except for that covered by the program’s excess medical coverage policy.

How are the teams formed?
All our programs are ability based. This means that all participants will be placed in groups that best matches their playing ability.
All players will be placed in groups that match their age and playing ability.
What to bring?
Soccer Attire, Shin Guards, Soccer Shoes, Indoor Shoes/Sneakers, Water/Sports drink, Hat, Packed Lunch and Sunscreen.

Program
All the Soccer Camps in New York City are in RESIDENTIAL format.
Except for flights, they include:
Pick up and transfers from the JFK airport (train or bus station) also on the way back.
Daily transfers to the Soccer fields.

Previous Soccer experiences
Our first “Soccer Made in the USA” program took place in the summer of 2014. We organized a soccer program in New York City together with the prestigious soccer school, the Manhattan Kickers Football Club.
With kids, MKFC’s philosophy is based on developing and improving their technical skills and team play. That’s why we offer personalized coaching for different positions, culminating in real game situations designed to stimulate players’ decision-making when searching for the best technical, tactical, or strategic option: what’s known as smart play. All training exercises and games are carried out with the ball – the main source ofmotivation for soccer players the world over. Evan Rosenthal and Héctor Nuñez share the role of Technical Director at the MKFC camp which is a fusion of both the American and European school, ensuring that innovative and highly efficient methods are adopted in developing players of this world class sport.
The camp is held at Pier 40 Fields in Hudson River Park, Manhattan. The campers’ accommodation is located at 182 Broadway, the home of Pace University and in the heart of Manhattan’s financial district, making the daily journey from the university accommodation to the training centers under the supervision of our staff; in this case on public transport (subway).
Our NYC soccer program also includes tours, visits and shows such as: Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks, Central Park, Empire State Building, Midtown, Chinatown, Financial District, Battery Park, Statue of Liberty, American Museum of Natural History, Jersey City, American BBQ, Gala Dinner and outdoor movies.
This program ensures youngsters are immersed in both the language and culture of the USA and campers spend entire training days alongside coaches and youngsters, almost all of whom are North American! Experience soccer in one of the most exciting cities in the world. Live like a real New Yorker! A dream program!
