GIGI BROWN

Garrianne Brown, also known as Gigi, graduated from BS in Movement Science in 2004. She is also a certified NASM Sports Performance Enhancement Specialist. Brown stands out for her special technical skills for basketball and sports performance training.

Her passion in this field has been a huge motivating factor. It pushed her to further her career in becoming the Founder and CEO of G’s Fitness & Basketball Program LLC.

Throughout her professional career, she has been travelling worldwide with special appearances on basketball camps/clinics and fitness events. Brown works for well-known organisations; such as, Basketball City – Basketball Camp Director, NBPA (National Basketball Player Association -NBA Union) – Basketball Director Clinician, USA Basketball Youth Development, and Jr. NBA.

She trains players ranging from NBA, NBAGLeague, and FIBA players. Brown’s goals, knowledge and skills have made a difference in people’s lives by contributing to their health quality and performance.

Brown understands the human factor in which performance has enabled her to become an innovator. As well as open new frontiers in basketball developmental skills, strength and conditioning, personal training, and sports performance training.

In his professional career it emphasizes his experience as coach in Basketball City New Yorkduring five years and in Catalan Federation of Basketball.

DAVID RAIMER

Dave is a veteran Coach at Basketball City. He has been coaching youth basketball programs since 1997.

Coach Raimer has also coached New York Knicks summer camps for almost a decade up until 2010 and has been affiliated with the YMCA Jr. Knicks program, NBA Fit clinics, and BC Hoops Scoop summer camps.

Dave has extensive experience with the youth and has great knowledge of the game.

KWABENA BRENYA

Kwabena Brenya is a first-generation Ghanaian American born in Brooklyn, New York City. He is a basketball coach, model, professional athlete, philanthropist, and actor. When he graduated from college at 23, his career led him to life behind the camera. His career outside of sports dates back to 2012, when he began participating in sports photography and videography.

Ironically, photography and videography led him back to his only love: basketball.

Over the years, he became a brand ambassador, influencer, and also dedicated himself to coaching youth basketball teams in New York City. Since then, Kwabena has also worked with Nike for four years as a brand ambassador, model, and elite basketball coach. He also works with other well-known organizations, such as FiveStar Basketball, the NBA, the NBA, and many more. Over the years, his work with children has become one of his life’s goals and has helped him realize how his passion for basketball can impact the world.

When he discovered that many young people lacked the resources to pursue their dreams in the world of basketball, he began offering his services free of charge to non-profit organizations. This was his goal, he wanted to contribute to giving underprivileged children the opportunity to continue dreaming. This process had a huge impact on Kwabena and changed him forever. He now runs a non-profit organization that helps children in developing countries who are basketball enthusiasts and provides experiences to help these children continue their journey through the sport.

In addition to providing shoes, school supplies, food, and raising money for young people in these countries, his goal is to inspire children around the world to feel important, while also working to try to give them a dignified way out. Kwabena knows he’s here to invest in young people’s dreams, not only by teaching and training them to be incredible players, but also by using basketball as a tool to shape their minds, to become great individuals with a purpose and high morals.
